Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt apparently has a thing for Journey, or at least one former member of the band.
When asked who she would like to be stranded on a desert island with on ABC's PrimeTime Thursday on -- you guessed it smart guy, Hewitt responded, "The rock band Journey. Just Steve Perry, because then he could sing to me, and I wouldn't even know I was on a desert island, nor would I care."
Journey, however, wouldn't want to be stranded anywhere with Perry. "I haven't talked to Steve Perry since 1998," says founding guitarist Neil Schon. "Not since the last time I called him up and said, 'Hey man ... you wanna get together and make a new Journey record ?' 'NO.'"
Journey's new album, Arrival (with new singer Steve Augeri, who apparently DID want to make a new record with Journey), hit stores on Tuesday (April 3)
