Steve is happily enjoying his retirement. Once a year, on his birthday, he would send a message to his fans via Fan Asylum. In January 2007 Steve had a Q&A session where he answered a lot of fans questions, read his past messages and interviews here. On October 3, 2006, Sony Music/Legacy re-released the Street Talk, For The Love Of Strange Medicine and Greatest Hits albums, each album contains bonus tracks previously unreleased.

On January 21, 2004 Journey were honoured with their own star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, download some video clips here and see photos here.
